Taurin is a Nethros trait with a Fated Virtue focused on avoiding two combat setbacks: delayed recovery after being knocked over and posture damage from being parried.
Fated Virtue
Taurin's Fated Virtue has two effects:
- When you are knocked over, being hit does not reset your recovery time.
- Being parried does not damage your posture.
This makes Taurin particularly relevant during exchanges where knockdowns and parries would otherwise extend an opponent's advantage. The knockdown effect prevents follow-up hits from restarting the recovery timer, while the parry effect protects posture when an opponent successfully parries you.
